Ridge Elementary School is partnering with Dancing Panda® to send families joyful learning activities by text message.

Below is one of our favorite math activities, Zap! This 3rd grade activity is one of the ones parents and families will receive, so you can experience firsthand how Dancing Panda® supports both classroom learning and family engagement.

Use this sample activity in a variety of ways:

• As a warm-up, center, or enrichment activity

• As a preview of what students will take home

• To better understand how Dancing Panda complements your instruction.

Program Details:

• Runs for one month, starting the week of March 16th

• 10 fun and age-appropriate learning activities

• Each activity takes 5-10minutes

• Two types of activities: 

  • Quickies: take less than 5min, includes trivia, riddles, and conversation starters 

  • Weekenders: Take 5-10min, most don’t need materials, but a few may use items commonly found at home. 

• Activities delivered directly to parents and family members via text message

• Requires few or no materials 

• Give parents simple ways to reinforce what their child is learning at Ridge
