Skill Spotlight: Number Sense & Comparing Numbers
Subject: Math
Grade: 2
What is my child learning?
In 2nd grade, it is important for students to build stronger number sense as they master addition and subtraction and prepare for multiplication and division in 3rd grade. Number sense refers to students’ ability to work flexibly and confidently with numbers. This activity promotes number sense by encouraging your student to reason about the comparative size and relationship of different numbers. Building this fluidity with numbers will allow your student to improve both their mental math and problem solving skills.
📅 Coming tomorrow
