What is my child learning?

In 3rd grade, students start to build important foundational skills in multiplication and division that they will continue to use as they progress in math. It is critically important that students develop the ability to multiply fluently one-digit numbers before they can multiply with multiple digits in 4th grade. This activity encourages students to practice their “math facts” in order to build automaticity with the skill.
