Skill Spotlight: Gross Motor Skills

  • Subject: Wellness

  • Grade: K

What is my child learning?

Understanding your body and how it moves is an important part of childhood. Creating positive moments where your child can use their strength and develop their gross motor skills, or body movements that use large muscles, also promotes a positive relationship with their body. This helps children build self confidence, understand their limits and be more willing to take risks in and outside of the classroom.

📅 Coming tomorrow
